MAY DISCUSSION: Self-Defense in The Workplace

Learn the top 10 reality based self-defense strategies that will keep you and your employees safer in your business. You will learn everyday items you can use for defense and practical anti-abduction techniques. The bad guys are looking for easy targets. You will not be an easy target after participating in this program.

Leading our discussion will be NAWBO Iowa member Amy Ratekin. Amy and her husband Mark became C.O.B.R.A Self-Defense instructors in December 2014. Originally they were looking for a self-defense program to teach their young Taekwondo students. They realized there was a desperate need for professional self-defense training for people of all ages and abilities. So, they became C.O.B.R.A. instructors and now offer training for everyone. All of her passions and past careers have merged into the perfect business of C.O.B.R.A Self-Defense Iowa.

Takeaways from the May presentation will include everyday items for defense, anti-abduction techniques with hands on practice, basic safety strategies, and corporate safety.
