Many Iowa businesses already provide reasonable accommodations to their employees during pregnancy. Business owners and Iowa families would benefit from passage of the Iowa Pregnant Workers Rights Act that would provide a clear, common sense rule that is easy to follow: that reasonable accommodations, which would not include those which are unduly burdensome on business operations, should be provided to pregnant employees.
Please join an expert panel in a discussion of the proposed legislation and learn how to join statewide efforts to successfully pass these protections into law.
This webinar will highlight the background, including legislative history of the proposed legislation, strategy for moving forward and a Question & Answer portion with the panelists.
